Atul Ltd. (Aromatics Div. )

Working at Plot No. 297 is mostly about keeping up with the schedule. This is where the Aromatics Div. of Atul Ltd. is based, and it’s a pretty functional spot. It’s not the kind of place you’d find a lot of decorations. We have the gear we need and the space to do the job. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody really has the time for that. We're more concerned with what’s happening on the floor. The gate is usually open by seven in the morning. You’ll see the staff coming in, grabbing their coffee or chai, and heading straight to their stations. It gets busy fast. The sound of the machinery is like background music to us. Sometimes a machine acts up and we have to spend half the morning fixing it, which can be frustrating, but that's life in a place like this. We have a lot of containers coming in and out. The weather in this part of the world can be tough, especially during the monsoon when the rain hits the metal roof hard. We just keep moving. It's a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. We don’t do big speeches or fancy meetings. We just check the boards, see what needs doing, and get to it. It’s a simple way to work, really. There is always something to do at plot 297.
