Akshar Chemicals

At Akshar Chemicals, we are located at Plot No. B-1 in the Ashadeep Co-op Hou. Soc. part of GIDC. It’s an interesting spot because you have the industrial side of things right next to where people are living and moving about. Our building is pretty straightforward, just a large space for storage and some basic processing equipment. We have barrels and containers stacked up, and we spend a good chunk of our day checking labels and moving stock around with a hand trolley. The air usually has that faint chemical smell that you get used to after about ten minutes of being here. It’s not a place for suits or fancy meetings; we wear work clothes that usually end up with a few stains by the end of the week. The office part is just a small room with a window looking out onto the main driveway. We keep the ledger books there and answer the phone when it rings. On hot days, the metal roof makes a lot of noise as it expands, which can be a bit distracting if you aren't expecting it. We just keep our heads down and get the batches ready for whoever is coming to pick them up next. Most of us have been working at B-1 for years and we’ve got the routine down to a science without needing any complicated systems.
