We are set up at No-1 and 122 in the GIDC Industrial Area. If you’ve ever spent time in a GIDC zone, you know exactly what the vibe is like. It’s all about the work. There are trucks constantly coming in and out, and the roads can be a bit rough in the monsoon. Our place is pretty large because we need the space for what we do. It’s industrial stuff, mostly dealing with materials that other companies need for their products. The air always has a bit of a metallic or chemical tang to it. We have a lot of people who have been with us for twenty years or more. They know the machines better than anyone. It’s not a place where people wear suits; it’s more about boots and work shirts. We spend a lot of time on the floor checking things. The office part is just a few desks near the entrance where we keep the logs and the shipping papers. Lunchtime is usually when it gets quiet for a bit, and everyone sits out by the gate or in the small canteen area. We don’t really worry about making the place look pretty for visitors because we don't get many casual ones. It’s just about getting the orders filled and making sure the quality is what it’s supposed to be. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know and what we have always done.
