Our place is at Plot No. 3011 in the 3rd Phase of the G.I.D.C. estate. If you’ve ever spent time in a G.I.D.C. area, you know exactly what it looks like—lots of industrial plots, big trucks, and plenty of activity. Bini Chemicals is just one of many businesses out here, but we’ve got our own little corner. The plot is a decent size, and we use every bit of it for our operations. It’s a bit of a utilitarian setup. We have the storage areas and a small office space that is basically just a desk and a computer. The dust from the industrial roads is always an issue, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things up. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a nice garden or a lobby. It’s all about the work here. We have a small group of workers who know the routine inside out. Sometimes the power goes out in this phase, which can be a pain, but we usually have a backup or just wait it out. We don’t go in for fancy talk. We just focus on the chemicals we handle and making sure things get shipped out when they’re supposed to. It’s a busy environment, but we’ve gotten used to the pace over the years. You just have to be practical when you are working in an industrial zone like this.
