Tata Sponge Iron

Tata Sponge Iron is located out here in Tsil Joda, Keonjhar. It’s a rugged kind of place, mostly focused on the iron work. We don't have a long fancy address, just Joda. Everyone around here knows the Tsil area. It's where the heart of the activity is. We spend our days dealing with the sponge iron process. It’s honest work. The red dust is just part of the environment in Keonjhar. You won’t find any shiny office buildings or glass windows here. We have our workspace and we stick to it. The team is mostly local guys who understand how things run in this part of Orissa. It gets busy during the peak hours when the trucks line up. We don't spend much time on talk, we just focus on the loads and the paperwork. If you're looking for us, just head towards the Tsil section of Joda. It's pretty much a landmark on its own. The weather can be a bit much, especially in the summer months when it’s dry, but the work doesn't stop. We've been around this spot for a while now. There’s a certain way things get done here and we just follow that rhythm. It’s not a complicated setup at all. Just a group of people doing what needs to be done with the iron. No fluff, just the daily grind in Joda. We prefer it this way. It’s simple, it’s local, and it’s just our way of life.
