Tata Sponge &Iron Limited

We are based out of Qrs. No. : O-9 in the Tata Sponge Township. It's located in Bileipada, which is near Joda in the Keonjhar district of Orissa. Living and working here in the township is pretty simple. Most of us at Tata Sponge &Iron Limited have been in this area for a long time. The pin code is 758034 if you're sending anything our way. It's a small community where everyone knows each other’s business. The office isn't much to talk about, just a practical space where we handle our daily tasks. Bileipada is a quiet place mostly, tucked away from the main noise. We've got the township life figured out by now. Being in the Keonjhar district means we are right in the middle of things for this iron industry. Work starts early. We deal with the iron and sponge production side of things. It’s dusty work but someone’s got to do it. The township has its own feel, quite different from the big cities like Bhubaneswar. We don't really do much else besides the work and staying around the quarters. Sometimes the weather in Orissa gets really hot, and the humidity is thick, but we keep the machines running anyway. It’s just how life goes here. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. Just people working at the township and getting the job done day by day without any fuss or trouble.
