Vk Refractories

Vk Refractories is over at Plot Number 34/1 in the industrial area of Villapuram. We are pretty close to the Ram Krishna Ferro Alloys plant, which is a big place everyone knows. Being in Anantapur, it gets extremely hot, especially with the kind of work we do. We handle refractory materials that go into furnaces and other high-heat spots. It’s a dusty, heavy job. The yard is usually full of pallets and stacks of specialized bricks. We don't have a lot of people working here, just a small crew that knows how to move the heavy stuff without breaking it. Sometimes the trucks from the ferro alloys place block the road, so getting in and out can be a bit of a struggle during the day. We spend most of our time organizing the inventory and making sure the orders are ready for whoever is coming to collect them. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy desks or air conditioning. We just have a small office where we keep the ledgers and drink some tea when there is a break. Most of our days are spent out in the open, dealing with the heat and the materials. It is honest work in a busy part of the village. People around here know we’ve been at this plot for a while, just doing what needs to be done for the local industry.
