Wahab Iron And Steels is over on Chennekothapalli Road in Gooty. We are at 4-1-346. Gooty is a place where you have to work hard to get by, and that’s what we do every day. We deal with a lot of metal. Iron bars, steel sheets, all sorts of heavy stuff. The yard is usually full of materials piled up. It’s not a pretty sight, but it’s a working yard. We have a few guys who handle the loading and unloading. It’s physical work and the sun can be brutal out here on the road. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly stay outside or under the shed where the metal is stored. People come here when they need materials for building things. We don't do big sales pitches. We just show them what we have and tell them the price. We’ve been at this location for years, so we know most of the contractors and builders around Gooty. They know we are reliable and that we don’t play games with the weight or the cost. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just sell iron and steel. If the trucks are running and the orders are moving, then it’s a good day for everyone. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. If you come by, you’ll probably see us checking the inventory or helping a customer tie down a load on their truck. That’s just life here.
