S K R Steels

S K R Steels is a small operation at 42/1, Tadlapalle Road. We are based in Veerabhadra Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the city center, which we like. We have been here for a while, dealing with steel supplies. It’s mostly just me and a couple of other guys handling everything. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. We just have the warehouse space and a small desk for the bills. The steel comes in on big trucks, and we have to move it all by hand or with a small crane. It’s hard work, and our hands are always dirty by the end of the day. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit through the roof, so we have to be careful where we stack the stock to keep it dry. We get customers from all over the local area. Most of them are just people fixing up their houses or local mechanics. We don't try to be something we're not. We just sell steel. If we don't have something, we tell you straight. Tadlapalle Road isn't too hard to find if you know Veerabhadra Nagar. We’re usually open from Monday to Saturday. It's just a regular business. We take care of the stuff we have and try to get home at a decent hour. It's not the most exciting job, but it pays the bills and we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we stay open late if a customer is coming.
