Woods Furniture

Our shop is in J.J Chambers, which is right opposite the Amul Dairy on Dairy Road. If you are in Anand, everyone knows the dairy, so we are easy to find. Woods Furniture is located just below the Dena Bank. It’s a busy little corner. We have been here for years, watching the traffic go by towards the dairy. Inside, it’s full of sofas, tables, and chairs. We don't have a lot of extra space because we like to keep a good stock on the floor. It can get a bit crowded when customers come in at the same time. The smell of new wood is always in the air. We are a small team, mostly just a few of us helping people pick out what they need for their homes. We don’t do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they are passing by or they live in the neighborhood. We handle the deliveries ourselves usually. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure things don't get scratched. Sometimes the bank upstairs is noisy, or the dairy trucks make a lot of sound, but we are used to it by now. It’s a practical place to work. We just try to keep things simple and give people a decent place to sit. That’s what we do every day. It's a living and we like it here.
