National Paints Industries

National Paints Industries is situated at Plot No. 95/A in the G.I.D.C. Estate of Vitthal Udyog Nagar. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. There is always a lot of activity with loaders moving around and people in uniforms heading to work. Our place is where we handle all the paint stuff. There are cans and drums stacked everywhere, and the air usually smells a bit like solvent and fresh pigment. It is not a place for someone who doesn't like to get a bit of color on their clothes. We spend our days mixing batches and checking that the colors are coming out the way they should. It is a lot of standing around and watching the mixers, then moving heavy containers from one side of the plot to the other. We have a small team of workers who know the process inside and out. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from being here in the estate for so long. People know where Plot 95/A is and they know we are usually there from early morning until late. The sun can get really hot on the metal roof, but we just keep the fans going and get through the day. It is just a regular industrial job in a busy part of town.
