Umiya Engineers

We’ve been here at G.I.D.C. near Khawaja Chokdi for a while now. It’s a busy spot, 4611 to be exact. The shop is usually full of metal parts and the constant sound of machines running in the background. We spend most of our days working through different projects that come our way. Sometimes things get a bit messy on the floor, but that is just how it goes when you are dealing with engineering work all day long. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who know their way around a lathe and some welding gear. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that to show off. People usually just drop by the gate when they need something fixed or a part fabricated. It’s really hot in the summer and the dust from the road gets inside easily, but we keep at it regardless. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the parts fit like they are supposed to. Some days are much longer than others, especially when a machine breaks down or a delivery of material is late. We handle a lot of different jobs, from small repairs to bigger assemblies. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We mostly deal with local folks and other businesses around the industrial estate. There isn't much to say other than we show up, do the work, and try to get it done. It's just a regular workshop at 4611 doing what we know.
