J J Engineering

J J Engineering is tucked away in the Gidc Estate in Vithal Udyognagar. The address is a bit of a mouthful, E-7, K-1, 400/4 to 7, but it’s basically just one of the units where the machines are always humming. If you spend any time in the estate, you know the sound. It’s a lot of metal and concrete around here. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and the floor has the marks to prove it. Things move fast during the day. We’re usually covered in a bit of grease or dust by lunchtime, but that’s just the nature of the work we do. There isn't a lot of space for sitting around. Most of the room is taken up by tools and materials. We keep a small area for the desk work, though it’s usually buried under some diagrams or old invoices. It isn't the cleanest place you'll ever see, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly doing the same kind of stuff, so there’s a lot of nodding to each other when we’re out for a break. We don’t really bother with fancy uniforms or big meetings. We just get the instructions and get to it. Sometimes we stay late when a job is being stubborn, but usually, we're locking up as the sun goes down. It’s a practical life, working here in Vithal Udyognagar, just keeping the machines running and the orders filled as they come.
