Shree Ashapuri Engineering Works

We’ve been here at Plot No. K-1/7/1-B for quite a while now. Shree Ashapuri Engineering Works is right in the middle of Phase-I Gidc, over in Vithal Udyognagar. If you know the area, you probably know we are just opposite the Post Office. It gets pretty loud around here with the machines running, but that is just how an industrial estate works. People come in and out all day. Most of the time, we are just busy with whatever engineering job is on the table. It is dusty work. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop floor and the tools we use every day. Vithal Udyognagar is a busy place, and being in Phase-I means there is always someone moving something nearby. We keep the doors open mostly. The post office across the street is a good landmark because people get lost looking for these plot numbers. It’s not a complicated setup. We show up, do the work, and go home when the sun starts to set. Some days are longer than others depending on what needs fixing or making. We have seen a lot of changes in the Industrial Area Estate over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It's just a local shop doing local work. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly we're just handling parts or talking to the guys from the other units nearby. That’s about it for us really.
