We are located at Limdi Chowk in Dharmaj, which is part of the Petlad Taluka in the Anand district. Most people know the ONGC name, but here in Dharmaj, we are just a part of the local landscape. The office is a practical space where we handle the local operations and administrative stuff. It’s not like the big headquarters you might see in the cities. Here, things move at a bit of a different pace. We deal with the local land and energy matters that affect this part of Gujarat. The building is simple and fits right in with the other structures around the chowk. We have a small team here, and we all know each other. Most of us live nearby or in the surrounding villages. In the summer, it gets very hot, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the day. There is no corporate polish here. We just have our desks, our paperwork, and the daily tasks of managing the resources in this region. People from the town often stop by if they have questions about the local projects. We try to be helpful and give them the information they need without any complicated talk. It’s just how we do things in Dharmaj. It’s a quiet life, but the work we do is important for the energy sector here. We see the same farmers and shopkeepers every day. The office itself is functional with wooden desks and a lot of files from over the years.
