Moti Granites (P) Ltd.

We are set up on T.T.K. Road in Alwarpet. It’s a nice enough area, though the address numbers changed a while back which sometimes confuses the delivery drivers. We handle granite slabs and stones. The yard is usually full of heavy pieces leaned up against each other. Granite is heavy and messy to move, so there is always a bit of stone dust on the floor and our clothes. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. We don't do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from someone else or they see the stone when they're passing by on the street. It’s a straightforward business. We show the slabs, help with the measurements, and try to get the pieces loaded without any cracks. It takes a lot of physical effort to manage the inventory. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside in the yard, especially when it rains hard. Inside the office, it's pretty basic. A few desks, some samples on the walls, and a lot of old ledgers. We aren't fancy people. We just know our stone. We spend the day talking to masons and homeowners who want something that lasts. It’s steady work and we like being part of the Alwarpet community. It’s just us doing what we’ve done for years. We don't need much more than that to keep going and pay the rent.
