Mamma Foods

Mamma Foods is right on Station Road in Karamsad. Being so close to the station means there is always a crowd passing by and the sound of trains every now and then. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the locals know our spot. It’s not a massive factory; it’s more of a local operation where we prepare and pack our food items. The kitchen area is the heart of the place. It’s always warm and there’s usually a lot of talk and laughter among the staff. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a polished front office. It’s more like a family setting where everyone knows their job. We get our supplies from the local markets and spend the morning getting everything ready. The smells from the cooking usually drift out onto Station Road, which brings people in sometimes just to ask what’s being made. We don’t do much advertising. People just find us or they’ve been coming here for years. The building is a bit old, and the floors have some wear and tear, but it’s clean and it works for what we do. We focus on making things the way they’re supposed to be made, without taking shortcuts. The afternoons are usually spent packing things into boxes for the local shops. It’s a routine that we’ve stuck to because it works. Mamma Foods is just a small part of Karamsad, and we’re happy to keep it that way.
