If you’re looking for Keshav Engineering, you have to head down Gondal Road and turn into Samrat Industrial Area. We are on Marg No 10, right behind the S. T. Workshop. It’s a bit of a maze back here, and the roads aren't always in the best shape, especially after a heavy rain. Our workshop is always ringing with the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s a gritty place, but it’s where we do our best work. We have a few machines that have been with us since the start, and they still run better than the new stuff if you treat them right. The office is just a corner partitioned off with some plywood so we can hear ourselves talk. We get a lot of walk-ins from the other shops nearby looking for a quick fix or a spare part. There’s always oil on the floor and a stack of blueprints on the table that someone spilled tea on. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. You just walk in and yell for someone. It’s how things are done in this part of Rajkot. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need a lot of rules. We just know what needs to be welded or machined by the end of the day. It’s honest work, even if we go home with dirty hands every night. The fans hum constantly to fight the midday heat.
