Arts & Commerce College

You can find us right near the Jain Temple in Borsad, Gujarat. The college is a central part of the community here, and many people pass by the building every day on their way to the temple or the market. It is an older building with high ceilings and thick walls that help keep the classrooms a bit cooler during the hot Gujarat summers. We offer courses in arts and commerce, so the students are usually seen carrying thick textbooks or accountancy folders. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but gets serious when exam season rolls around. The library is a bit cramped but it has all the old books that students need. We have a small staff room where teachers sit and grade papers while drinking tea. The courtyard is the main gathering spot where everyone meets up between lectures. You’ll often see groups of friends standing around talking about their plans for the weekend. It’s a very local vibe, and most students walk or bike here from their homes nearby. We don’t have any fancy computer labs with the latest tech, just basic rooms where learning happens the old-fashioned way. The building has some character to it, with some worn-down stairs and posters on the walls. It’s a practical place for young people in Borsad to get their degrees without having to travel too far from home. We just keep things running as best as we can every single day.
