Shree Sonalkunj Vidhyalay

Shree Sonalkunj Vidhyalay is tucked away in Limkheda, which is a smaller part of the Dahod district. It is a bit quieter out here compared to the main town, but we still have plenty of activity every single day. The school itself is a simple structure. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights out front. Most of the kids who come here walk from their homes nearby or take the local buses. The classrooms are basic with just enough room for the benches and the teacher’s chair at the front. We have a lot of open space around the building, which is nice because it lets in a lot of natural light, even if it means we get some bugs flying in during the rainy season. The walls have some old charts hanging up about geography and science that have been there for years. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many kids running around in the dirt, it is a never-ending job. The water tank is in the corner of the yard, and that is where everyone gathers when the bell rings for recess. We do not have much in the way of high-tech stuff, just the usual chalkboards and textbooks. It is a practical place for families in the 389140 area who want their kids to learn the basics without any fuss or expensive extras.
