Sgn Impex

If you walk down Katra Sher Singh Raod, you’ll eventually find Sgn Impex. It’s a narrow road and things can get pretty tight when the delivery carts are moving through. Our building is one of those older ones that has seen a lot over the years. We’ve been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the shops around us change owners plenty of times. The air here always smells a bit like the street food from the corner and the exhaust from the bikes. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with samples and ledgers that we still use because we like having things on paper. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the old ceiling fans running full speed. We don't really do much in the way of decorating; the walls are mostly covered with calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. People stop by to chat sometimes, mostly other business owners from the street. It’s a friendly enough place, even if it’s a bit disorganized to an outsider’s eye. We handle our import and export stuff right from these desks. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We just try to get the orders out on time and make sure we didn't miss any details in the shipping documents.
