Degree College Of Physical Education is located right in Hanuman Vyayam Nagar in Amravati. If you come here early in the morning, you will hear the whistles blowing before the sun even fully comes up. That is just how life is for everyone here. Our grounds are big and get a lot of use every single day. The dust rises high when the students are running laps or practicing football drills. It is not a quiet place at all. We have different sections for various sports, and the equipment is well-used and sometimes a bit worn out from all the daily practice. The staff here are usually seen in their tracksuits, walking around and keeping an eye on the drills. We do not have any of those polished corporate-style offices. It is just basic desks with piles of registers and some old sports trophies that need a good dusting. The heat in Amravati can be really tough in April, but the students keep going anyway. They come here from all over Maharashtra, staying in hostels or small rooms nearby. It is a lot of physical work, and you can see how tired everyone looks by the evening. We have a canteen that serves basic snacks and tea, which is where most people hang out after their sessions. It is a very straightforward place with no hidden extras. We just focus on the physical training.
