Ambasaji Pophali College Of Technical Education. Our college is located in Chandur Railway, which is a small town in the Amravati district. We are right near the Digambar Jain Mandir, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Since we are a technical college, we have various workshops and labs where students spend most of their time. You can often hear the sound of tools and machines coming from the back rooms. The building is a bit spread out. It gets very hot in this part of Maharashtra, so we have fans running all day long. Students come from the nearby villages and even from Amravati city by train. Being near the station is very convenient for them. We focus on practical work because that's what technical education is about. The furniture is mostly metal and wood, built to last. We don't have any fancy lounge areas or cafes. There is a small tap for drinking water and a place for students to sit and eat their tiffin. The staff stays busy with practical exams and keeping the equipment in working order. It’s a straightforward place. We’ve had many students pass through here who now work in factories or workshops across the state. We just keep doing our work every day, opening the gates early and staying until the last practical session is done.
