Om Techno Engineers

We are out here in Ambernath East at Plot No.W/92 in the MIDC area. This is part of the Additional Ambernath Industrial Area, specifically in Anand Nagar. It is a loud place to work because there are so many engineering shops around us. We have all kinds of metal parts and tools scattered across the workbenches. The air always has that metallic smell and there is usually a thin layer of grease on everything. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk straight into the workshop from the street. Most of our days are spent fixing things or cutting metal to size. It’s a hands-on job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. The heat in Ambernath can be tough, especially with the machines running. We have a few fans going but they mostly just move the warm air around. We’ve been at this Plot No.W/92 for several years. People in the industrial estate know us as the guys who are always tinkering with something. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the task in front of us. There’s no point in making it look pretty when there is real work to be done. We just do what we do and try to get home before the trains get too crowded. That is the life at Om Techno Engineers.
