S.R. Strips Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is located at G-731 in the Ria area. We have been working with steel strips at S.R. Strips Pvt. Ltd. for quite some time. It's a straightforward operation. We spend most of the day around the machinery, making sure everything runs like it's supposed to. The Ria industrial zone is tucked away a bit, so it's mostly just us and the other nearby units. We don’t have any big corporate signs or anything flashy. Usually, there is a lot of noise from the processing lines. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, but we just get on with it. A lot of our day involves moving inventory and checking the coils. We deal with various sizes of strips depending on what people are asking for that week. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to wait around to load them up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The guys on the floor have a routine down. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the machines to reset. It’s a small team, really. We know the neighbors and the local drivers. If someone needs a specific strip cut, we look at the schedule and see when we can fit it in. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things here. No fancy meetings, just work. We keep the machines oiled and the floor swept as best we can. It’s a busy life, but it’s our life.
