Shiv Trading Company

Shiv Trading Company is located right out in the village of Khoh. If you are driving along the bypass road in Tehsil Rajgarh, you will probably see us near the railway phatak. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains going by all day long, which you get used to after a while. We do a bit of trading here, mostly local goods that people in the area need for their daily work. It is a small setup, just a building by the road where we keep our stock. The post office is nearby too, so there is always a bit of foot traffic coming through. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the supplies are moving and people get what they ordered. Sometimes the railway crossing gets stuck and traffic backs up right in front of our door. That is usually when we get the most visitors, people just waiting for the train to pass. We try to keep things organized, but in a small village like Khoh, things happen at their own pace. There is no point in rushing when the weather is hot or the trucks are late. We know most of our customers by name since they live just down the road or in the next village over. It is a simple way to make a living, right here by the tracks. We just open up the shutters and see what the day brings.
