Sharda Marbles

Our shop, Sharda Marbles, is located at Shree Pitra Kripa on Vinay Marg. We are quite close to the Smd Circle here in Alwar, so it is a pretty easy place to get to if you are in the city. It is a bit different from the big industrial yards since we are more in a local area. We have our slabs set up so people can walk through and see the colors. Most days, it is just us sitting there, maybe having some tea and talking to the neighbors who walk by. The building is called Shree Pitra Kripa and we’ve made it our home for the business. Alwar gets quite hot, so we try to keep the area shaded where we can. We don't have any fancy brochures or big marketing plans. People usually find us by word of mouth or just because they were passing Smd Circle and saw the stones outside. We spend time cleaning the slabs so the dust doesn't hide the patterns. It is a small operation compared to the massive plants, but we like it that way because we can actually talk to the people who come in. We show them what is available and tell them how it might look once it is polished and laid down. It’s a quiet way to spend the day, just managing the inventory and keeping the place tidy on Vinay Marg.
