Sarswati Public School

Sarswati Public School is located right on NH71B here in Shahdod, Bhiwadi. If you know the area, it is pretty busy with all the trucks and cars going past all day long. We have been in this part of Block 11 for some time now. The building is just a regular school building, nothing fancy to look at really. Most mornings it starts getting noisy around eight when the kids begin showing up. Some come on foot from the nearby houses and others get dropped off right by the road. The dust from the highway can be a bit much during the dry months, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and the desks. It is just a place where kids come to learn their lessons and play during the break. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade when the sun gets hot in the afternoon. Inside, the classrooms have the usual benches and blackboards. It feels like a normal school day every day, with teachers carrying their books and children chatting in the hallways. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. It is a simple setup we have here. People in the neighborhood know us well enough. We do not have those big shiny gates you see in the cities, just a regular entrance that stays open during school hours for everyone to use.
