M/S Bharat Engg. Works

Down at Ff Road Village in Golu Ka Mour, you’ll find M/S Bharat Engg. Works. It’s a rural spot, so we get a lot of agricultural equipment coming through the doors. Farmers bring in their broken tillers or need some welding done on their trailers. The shop is full of scrap metal and the floor is dirt in some places. We have a big anvil and some welding gear that’s seen better days, but it gets the job done. It’s noisy and there are always sparks flying somewhere. We don't really have set hours; if the lights are on, we are working. Usually, we are open until the sun goes down. It’s a bit out of the way for city folks, but everyone in the village knows where Golu Ka Mour is. My father started this place, and I just kept it going. We don't use computers much, maybe just for the phone. Most of our records are in a big notebook with coffee stains on it. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy through the seasons. When the harvest starts, we are here day and night because that's when everything breaks down. We just fix what needs fixing and hope the rain stays away for a bit. There’s no lobby or air conditioning, just a bench outside where people sit and wait for their repairs. That’s how we’ve always done it here in the village.
