Ashirwad Strips Private Limited is situated near Plot No.-66, right by the Kva Grid. We are in the Guru Ki Nagri area of the city. It’s a bit of an industrial part of town, so there is always a bit of noise from the machinery going in the background. We work with steel strips here and the machines take up a lot of the floor space in the unit. It’s a Private Limited company but it feels more like a regular workshop when you’re actually inside. The power grid being so close means we usually don’t have too many electrical issues, which is lucky for us. Most of the people working here live in the nearby neighborhoods. We usually start work quite early in the morning before the sun gets too hot for the heavy lifting. There is plenty of metal dust because of the material we handle every day. We don’t have a big reception area, just a small desk near the entrance where we keep the paperwork in folders. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding the exact plot number, so we often have to go out to the main road to wave them in. It's a busy life at Ashirwad Strips Private Limited. We don't use much fancy talk here. We just cut the strips and load them up onto the transport. It’s hard work on the hands. You get used to the smell of cold metal after a few days.
