Mundeth Granites

Down at 2, Chengal, on the Kalady Road, you will find Mundeth Granites. We are a small operation and we like to keep things that way. There is no receptionist or big glass front to our building. Usually, you will just find one of us out in the yard moving slabs or cleaning up the workspace. Working with granite is a heavy job and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The Kalady Road area is fairly quiet compared to the main city, which makes it a decent place to work every day. We don't have a big team of people in suits. We are usually just wearing our regular work clothes and probably have some stone dust on our shoes. People from around Chengal often stop by just to see what kind of stock has come in recently. We show them what is on the racks and tell them the price. It is a very straightforward process without any hidden extras or complicated talk. Sometimes the inventory is full and other times we are waiting on a truck to arrive from the quarry. That is just how the rhythm goes here at Mundeth Granites. We aren't trying to be the biggest supplier around; we just want to do our work and keep the yard running smoothly. It is practical work and we have been doing it long enough that we don't really think about the effort anymore.
