Down here at 4B/2M on Dharma Veer Marg, things stay pretty loud with all the metal banging around. We’ve been set up in Sulem Sarai for a long time, dealing with all kinds of kitchen equipment. It’s not just home stuff, we handle the big heavy things that restaurants and hotels need to keep their cooks happy. The shop is full of stainless steel tables, big burners, and sinks. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we have so much stock piled up. You walk in and you’re likely to trip over a stray pipe if you aren't looking. My father started this, and I just kind of took over as I got older. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s just a workshop where we put things together and make sure they don't leak or break. Sulem Sarai is a busy area, so there’s always someone stopping by to ask about a spare part or a custom table. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting metal. It’s dusty work and our hands are always dirty by lunchtime. We don’t really bother with fancy talk or sales pitches. If someone needs a stove that can handle big pots of biryani, they come here. We show them what we have, tell them what it costs, and that’s about it. People seem to like that we don't try to push things they don't need or want.
