Eco Bricks

Eco Bricks is located in Nadvath Nagar, over in the Arookutty area. We make bricks here. It’s a green area, quite quiet compared to the city. We have a decent sized plot where the manufacturing happens. We started this because there was a demand for more bricks in the local construction projects. It’s a hands-on job. I spend most of my day out in the yard checking the quality of the blocks. We have a small team of workers from the nearby villages. They are good people. We use a simple process to make the bricks. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice. If it rains too much, we have to stop production for a bit. That's the main struggle we face. The address is easy to find if you are in Arookutty. Just ask for the brick place in Nadvath Nagar. We don't have a big sign or anything. Most of our business comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works fine. We focus on getting the work done. The yard is usually full of stacked bricks waiting for the tractors to come and pick them up. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s what we do. We enjoy the work and the people we meet. It’s a simple, honest business. Nothing fancy or complicated about it. We just make bricks and sell them to whoever needs them. We take it one day at a time.
