Surya Seads

Surya Seads is located out on Chand Babri along the Beawar Road. It is a place filled with bags and stacks of different supplies for the local farmers around here. When you walk inside, there is that specific smell of earth and dried grain that seems to stay in your clothes for the rest of the day. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy sacks around and talking to people about the weather or the quality of the soil this year. The Beawar Road can get pretty busy with traffic, but our shop is usually a bit more quiet once you step inside. We keep our ledger on a small wooden table near the front door. It is not a modern shop with bright lights or glass displays. Most of the light comes through the open doorway. We have got stacks of bags piled up high, almost reaching the ceiling in some corners. We know the people around Chand Babri well. They come in with dirt on their boots and tell us how the planting season is going. It is simple work, mostly just measuring things out and helping people load their carts or small trucks. We do not have a website. If someone needs Surya Seads, they just drive down the road and look for the building. Sometimes we sit outside on a wooden bench when things are slow. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it feel quite warm.
