Saavi Natural Farming

We are located along Jaipur Road in the Satguru Market area. Our shop is focused on natural produce and things grown without all the heavy chemicals. We get our stock in early, and it’s usually straight from the fields, so there is often a bit of actual dirt still on the vegetables. It’s not like those shiny supermarkets where everything looks plastic. Here, the carrots might be odd shapes and the greens have a few holes in them. We spend a lot of time sorting through the crates and setting things out on the wooden racks. The shop is pretty open, so the breeze from Jaipur Road blows through, but so does the dust. We have to wipe down the counters and the scales quite often. We also keep some jars of honey and natural oils on the shelves. The floor is just plain concrete, and we keep a broom handy because there’s always bits of straw or leaves falling off the produce. We don't use a lot of fancy packaging; most people just bring their own bags or we use simple paper. It’s a quiet kind of business compared to the rest of the market. We mostly just sit here and wait for the regulars who care about where their food comes from. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the Satguru Market community, even if it gets a bit chaotic with the traffic outside.
