Sundar Pan Bhandar

Sundar Pan Bhandar is a little spot located on Adarsh Nagar Nasirabad Road. The traffic on this road never seems to stop and there is always a lot of noise from the horns and the engines. Our shop is just a small counter facing the street. I have rows of glass jars filled with everything you need to make a good pan. I spend a lot of my time cleaning the leaves and prepping the ingredients so everything is ready when a customer stops their bike. Most people are in a hurry and they don't even get off their vehicles. They just shout their order and I hand it over. We have a small bench on the side but people rarely use it. I have been at this location for a long time and I have seen the neighborhood change a lot. The road used to be much narrower than it is now. We don't have any big flashy lights or anything like that. Just a simple bulb for when the sun goes down. The heat from the road can be a bit much in the afternoons but we have a small fan that helps a little bit. It is a steady job and I like the routine of it. We are just a small part of the life here on Nasirabad Road.
