Sonu Auto Mobiles

The shop, Sonu Auto Mobiles, sits right on Ramganj Road, and if you live around here, you know how crowded it gets. There is always noise from the street, people honking, and the sound of tea stalls nearby. We have been in this spot in Ramganj for a while, and it has become like a second home to most of us who work here. We mostly deal with bikes and scooters because that is what everyone in this part of town uses to get around. It’s a lot of oil changes and fixing punctures or tightening up brakes that have gone loose from the bumpy roads. Sometimes we get a real headache of a job where an engine just won't start, and we spend hours poking at it until it finally kicks over. We don't have a big office or anything, just a few stools and the workbench where we keep the spare parts. The floor is stained dark from years of spills, and there is always a radio playing somewhere in the background. We know the regulars by their names and the sound of their engines before they even pull up. When the rains come, the road gets messy, and we spend half our time mopping the floor, but that is just part of it. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the buildings. Sometimes we just sit outside on plastic chairs when things are slow and watch the cars go by.
