Redimatc Center

Redimatc Center is right there on Pushkar Road in the Purani Mandi area. It is a busy part of town, especially when the market is in full swing. We have been selling clothes here for quite some time now. The shop is full of racks and stacks of shirts and pants. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the shop directly, so we keep the old ceiling fans going all day. They make a clicking sound that I have stopped noticing lately. People come in from the Mandi after doing their vegetable shopping to see what we have on the hangers. We don't do much tailoring, mostly just ready-made things that people can take home and wear right away. It is a lot of folding and unfolding all day long. When someone tries something on and decides not to buy it, I have to get it all back on the hanger just right. The street outside is usually full of bikes and cows, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to get inside. Purani Mandi has that old feeling, and we fit right in with the other shops. We aren't trying to be a big mall or anything. It is just a place to get decent clothes without any fuss. I usually spend my lunch break sitting on a stool near the back where it is a bit cooler.
