Swastik Battery Corporation is tucked into Nimbark Market, which is part of the larger Prithviraj Market at shop number 21. It’s a very busy area, and honestly, finding a place to park your bike can be a nightmare some mornings. Our shop is full of batteries of every size you can think of. They are heavy and have a tendency to leave marks on your clothes, so we don't wear anything nice to work. The floor is concrete and usually has some stains on it from the battery acid or just general grime. We don't have a mission statement or a big philosophy. We just test batteries and sell new ones when the old ones die. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying, which keeps us busy. The other shopkeepers around us are good people, and we often share a tea in the afternoons when things quiet down a bit. Prithviraj Market has a lot of energy, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our stock is just piled up on the sturdy wooden shelves we built years ago. If your car won't start or your inverter is acting up, people know to come see us at number 21. We just do our job and don't make a big fuss about it. That’s how we’ve always operated here and it seems to work.
