Naya Thikana

Naya Thikana is our little spot on Vaishali Nagar Road in Ajmer. We are located near the Divya Deep Marriage Garden. The name basically means a new place, and that is what we have been for the people around here for a while. It is a simple setup without any of the extra stuff you see in big city restaurants. We have a regular kitchen where we cook basic meals. There are no chefs with tall hats here, just people who know how to handle a stove. The road outside can get very noisy, especially when there is a wedding at the garden nearby. We just keep the doors open and keep serving. We get a lot of different people coming through. Some are locals from Ajmer and others are just passing by on the road. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to make sure the food is hot and there is enough of it for everyone. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when a large group comes in without warning, but we manage to get everyone fed eventually. It is a lot of daily work like cleaning the tables and checking the supplies. We like being part of the neighborhood here. If you are walking down Vaishali Nagar Road, you will see us. We are just a plain business doing what we can to serve the community every day.
