Manchali Corner is right where Madar Gate meets Dargah Bazar. It’s a very busy intersection with lots of pilgrims and locals walking by every minute. We sell a bit of everything, mostly snacks and things people need while they are out and about. The shop is small, so we have to stack things high. It’s not a place where you sit down for a long time. You just grab what you need and keep moving. I’ve been working here since I was a teenager. The noise from the Dargah Bazar is constant, but you stop hearing it after a while. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just me and my nephew most days. We keep the fridge cold and the shelves full. Sometimes the deliveries are late because the trucks can't get through the narrow streets. We just handle it as it comes. It's a bit chaotic during the holidays, but that's when we do our best business. We don't do any marketing. Our location does all the work for us. People see the sign and they stop in. It’s a practical little shop for a busy part of town. We just try to stay organized in the middle of all the madness outside. It’s an honest way to make a living in the heart of the city. We are here from early morning until the crowds thin out late at night. That is just our daily life at the corner.
