Gauri Craft Centre

We started Gauri Craft Centre a while back here in Vaishali Nagar. It is mostly just us working with different crafts and showing people what can be made by hand. The shop isn't fancy, but it gets the job done for now. We spend most of our days looking at new designs or just sorting through materials in the back room. Sometimes it gets a bit messy, but that is how it is when you are busy. People from around the neighborhood drop by to see what is new on the shelves. We don't really have a big team or anything like that, just a few of us who know our way around these materials. It is quiet mostly, except when we have a big order to finish by the end of the week. We have been in this spot for a bit now and we like it. There is always something to fix or move around the store. Working with your hands all day makes the time go by fast. Some days we are just cleaning up dust or unpacking boxes that arrived in the morning. We do not do much advertising, mostly just folks walking in because they saw the sign while passing. It is a simple setup. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the supplies take over the whole floor. That is just part of the work. If you are around Vaishali Nagar, you have probably seen us.
