We’ve been here in Naya Bazar for quite a while now. Most people know us because they’re looking for that one specific shade of thread or a piece of cloth to go with an outfit they already have. The shop is right in Purani Mandi, which gets pretty crowded, especially on the weekends. I remember when we first opened, things were a bit quieter, but now there's always someone coming in with a dupatta or a blouse piece trying to find the right match. It’s not always easy to get it exactly right, but we try our best with what’s on the shelves. The shelves are usually packed tight. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the right box, but that’s just how it goes here. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to say hello while they’re out doing their regular shopping. We aren't a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a small spot where you can find what you need for your sewing projects. If you're walking through the mandi, you'll probably see us near the other fabric stalls. We don’t have a big sign or anything, but people find us. Usually, it's just me or one of the boys behind the counter. We keep things simple. Dealing with colors all day can be tiring for the eyes, but it’s what we do. It's a busy life here in the market, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
