Guru Rice Mills

We operate Guru Rice Mills out in Kishangarh, also known as Urf Pharwahi. The mill is situated quite close to the bus stand, which makes it a busy area. You can hear the hum of the rollers from the road when we are in full swing. We process a lot of paddy here. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of dust despite our best efforts to sweep it up throughout the day. It’s a heavy job involving a lot of lifting and shifting bags around. The farmers bring their harvest to us and we take care of the rest. We’ve been here for many seasons now. The bus stand nearby means there’s always a flow of people, and sometimes they stop by to ask about prices or just to see the mill working. We have a small crew of workers who know the machines inside out. If something rattles, they know exactly which bolt to tighten. It’s not a fancy setup, just a functional one that gets the job done. We don't spend much on decorations or paint. Most of our day is spent watching the grain move through the system and checking the bags. We take pride in the fact that we've stayed in the same spot for so long. When the season is busy, we work late into the night under the big yard lights. It’s just how we live and work here in Pharwahi, keeping things moving along.
