Dot Com Computers

We run Dot Com Computers out of a space at 876 Chander Vardai Nagar, right on Lohagal Road. It's mostly a place for computer repairs and selling some second-hand parts. We have been here for a good few years now. The shop is filled with old towers, some monitors stacked in the corner, and a lot of loose screws. We started this because we saw a lot of people in the area struggling with their home PCs. It’s not a shiny retail store. It looks more like a workshop. We spend our time diagnosing hardware issues or trying to get rid of viruses. Sometimes we build custom machines if someone asks for one. Lohagal Road gets quite busy, so there's always a bit of dust coming in through the door. We have a small counter where people leave their laptops. We write their names on pieces of tape and stick them on the cases so we don't mix them up. It’s just a couple of us working here. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything. We wear what's comfortable for crawling under desks to plug things in. Most of our tools are a bit worn out but they still work fine. We don't make big promises. We just try to fix what's broken. If we can't do it, we tell you straight. That’s how we operate every day.
