We set up Amva Softwares here in Pokhardi, which is a small area just outside the main part of Ahmednagar. It is not a big city office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we get our work done every day. Most of us who work here grew up around this area. We handle different kinds of software stuff and try to help people figure out their tech problems when they get stuck. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, but we manage to keep things moving regardless. We are not trying to be the next giant company you see on the news. We just want to do decent work for the folks who need it. My cousin helps with the computer setups, and a few others from the village come in daily to help with the coding and the solutions we build. It is quiet out here compared to places like Pune or Mumbai, and that is actually how we like it. We spend a lot of time looking at screens, but we still know all our neighbors by name. If you are passing through Pokhardi, you will see our small sign. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. People just come to us when their systems are not working right or they need something built for their local business. We sit down and find a way that makes sense.
