Z Plus Fashions

Our little shop is at No. 9 in Kashi Bai's Chawll. We are tucked behind Lal Mills on Rakhiyal Road in Gomtipur. It is quite close to the Baliya Kaka Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our doorway. The area is quite old and the streets are narrow. We have been here for a long time. This place is not fancy at all. We have clothes stacked up on wooden benches and some hanging from the ceiling. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. We do not have any air conditioning, just a couple of small fans that hum all day. The walls are a bit stained from the rain over the years. We mostly serve the people who live in the chawll and the nearby streets. It is a quiet kind of business. We do not use any computers or modern systems. Everything is written down by hand in a notebook. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive because the trucks have trouble getting through the narrow lanes. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors who pass by. It is a community thing here. We are just part of the local fabric of Gomtipur. We do not have any big plans to expand or anything. We just like running our shop and seeing the same faces every day.
