Eco Stitch Ahmedabad

Our workshop is over at Plot No. 9 in the Sharman-1 building. If you are looking for us, we are right by that HP petrol pump near the Anupam Theater in Khokhra. It is a busy little corner of Ahmedabad. You can always hear the cars pulling into the pump or people heading to catch a movie. We have been set up here for a bit now, doing our stitching work every day. The space is filled with machines and rolls of fabric everywhere you look. It isn't the tidiest place, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, the radio is playing some local station in the background while we work. We don't really have a front desk or anything like that. People just walk in through the main door if they need something. The heat in Ahmedabad can be pretty intense, so we have a couple of big coolers that we keep running during the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to take a break, which is when we go grab tea from the stall down the road. Eco Stitch is basically just us putting in the hours and making sure the orders are ready. We don't do much advertising or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or saw the sign while getting petrol. It is a simple setup but it works well for us and the neighborhood. We just keep sewing.
