Yatee Fashion

Yatee Fashion is based in C-204 at Sumel Business Park 2. It’s situated right behind Vanijya Bhavan on Kankaria Road. The business park is quite large, so it took us a while to get settled in when we first moved here. Our unit is on the second floor and it's where we handle all our clothing stock. Kankaria Road is a busy stretch, and being behind Vanijya Bhavan makes it a bit quieter than being right on the main street. We spend our mornings checking through the new arrivals and making sure the labels are right. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and organizing the shelves. My brother helps out with the deliveries and we have a couple of girls who handle the packing. We don't use any fancy software, just a notebook and some basic lists to keep track of what goes out. The coffee machine in the break area is probably the most used thing in the office. We've had a few busy seasons where we stayed late every night, but mostly it's a steady 9 to 6 kind of life. We like the community in Sumel Business Park; the other business owners are friendly and we often borrow packing tape or pens from each other. It feels like a real community of workers. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable one for our customers.
