Westside

Westside is right here across from the Mayors Bunglow on Law Garden Road. We spend most of our mornings just setting things up before the crowd starts coming in from Ellisbridge. It gets pretty busy around here since we are so close to Law Garden. People stop by after walking through the market or just when they are passing through the area. The shop is in a good spot in the Abhijeet-v building. It isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep the racks full and try to stay on top of everything. Some days are quieter than others, especially when the weather is too hot for people to be out by the gardens. We usually have a lot to do, checking what came in and making sure things are where they belong. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main road, so we are always wiping things down. Most of the staff has been here for a while now. We know the local faces and who is likely to drop in on a Tuesday versus a weekend. It is just a normal day-to-day operation for us. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about what is going on in the neighborhood. It is a steady place to be. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the doors are open on time every single morning.
